Nelly Rupande

Executive Assistant to the CEO

Nelly Sironka Rupande is an intersectional feminist who is passionate about building organisations and systems that are people-centred.

She is the Executive Assistant to the CEO at the Global Fund to End Modern Slavery, where she is responsible for diligently coordinating the daily workflow and priorities of the CEO and creating efficient operations across the organization. She manages projects and activities for the board, senior staff, and committees.

Nelly is a multihyphenate professional who started her career in Marketing and Communications and transitioned into Operations. She has previously worked with Kenya’s leading start up media house, Akili Network, in their operations department. She also partners with feminist organisations such as Unmothering the Woman to support their operations function.

Nelly holds a BA in Political Science, Psychology and Sociology from the University of Nairobi and Kalamazoo College.
