Allison Hammond is an Associate Grant Programs Manager at GFEMS where she supports the management of the Fund’s grant portfolio and grantee partnerships. Before joining the fund, she served as a Program Manager for Free the Slaves, where she oversaw anti-slavery interventions and grassroots NGO capacity building in Ghana, Senegal, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic. Prior to working within the anti-slavery movement, Allison upheld a commitment to the promotion of sustainable livelihoods and rights among vulnerable populations as a direct service provider to asylees and refugees in the U.S. and Ecuador. Allison holds a professional certificate in community development, stakeholder engagement, and program creation for social change from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies. She earned her BA in International Studies with specializations in International Development and Latin American Studies from The Ohio State University.
