Bart Robertson
Bart Robertson served as Manager of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning until 2022. He brought over ten years of experience in local economic development, rural livelihoods, and food and nutrition security. Prior to joining GFEMs, Bart spent the majority of his career based in Southeast Asia. Both as an on-staff economist and as an independent consultant, he conducted policy research and provided design and evaluation services to NGOs, governments, and multilateral organizations. Past clients include; the World Bank, ILO, WFP, UNICEF, the Government of the Union of Myanmar, and ActionAid. Bart also previously worked for the BRAC Ultra-Poor Graduation Initiative, where he provided technical advisory services for poverty reduction programming in MENA, East Africa, West Africa, and South Asia. He holds a B.S. in Business Management and Economics from Indiana State University and an MSc. in Development Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
